Monday 20th April 2020

To our fantastic clients,

I wish I was writing to you under better circumstances with some new developments at Woburn House or a fabulous new menu but sadly not on this occasion.

We are experiencing unprecedented times around the world due to the COVID-19 pandemic.  Closer to home the UK remains in full lockdown and closer still London is currently not the vibrant city it once was.  As announced on Thursday 16th April, from today 20th April 2020, the UK will remain in lockdown status for a further 3 weeks taking us up to Monday 11th May 2020.  After this time, we all would hope that the situation has improved, and less people are suffering as a result of the virus but at this stage we cannot be sure.  Woburn House is currently closed and will remain so for the next 3 weeks. At this point we will look at the government guidance again before making any decisions on reopening.

We at Woburn House understand that as meetings and events bookers, this uncertainty has a huge impact on your future bookings and any future meetings and events you have planned.  Therefore, we are now offering free postponement or cancellation of all bookings taking place in May 2020.  Any bookings after this date will still be subject to our standard terms and conditions of cancellation at this stage but this is subject to change if there is a change in the government guidance.

If you have a booking with us in May, please contact the bookings team to confirm if you wish to cancel or postpone your event or if you are still planning on proceeding at the moment.  The conference centre may be open from 11th May and if it is we would be very happy to host you but please do email the team on bookings@woburnhouse.co.uk so we can update our system accordingly.

We hope you are staying safe and we look forward to seeing you back at Woburn House very soon.

Best wishes

Richard, Magda, Ben and Grace
