Cancellations and Postponements – Update 20th March 2020
Following the government guidance requesting people to not get together in groups, Woburn House will be closed from 5pm today (20th March 2020). We realise many of you are currently considering your upcoming events and their viability due to the COVID-19 outbreak and are looking at cancelling or moving your meetings or events to later in the year.
Any events which were scheduled to take place between 17th March 2020 and up to and including 30th April 2020 can be cancelled or postponed free of charge. For bookings that were due to take place up to 16th March 2020 or are due to take place from 1st May 2020 onwards, cancellation terms and conditions will still apply. This will be reviewed closer to the date once the up to date government guidance has been reviewed. Billing of these charges will not take place until after the event date to ensure these are applicable given the government guidance. We will be keeping this page updated with the latest guidance and cancellation terms and conditions.
Please contact the bookings team as soon as possible to confirm your plans bookings@woburnhouse.co.uk. Please find below our cancellation terms and conditions should your event be scheduled for after May 1st 2020.
In the event that the Hirer cancels a confirmed booking, the following charges will be applied:
Outside of 3 months from the event date - 25% of room hire or DDR minimum numbers,
Less than 3 months notice from the event date - 50% of room hire or DDR minimum numbers,
Less than 2 months notice from the event date - 75% of room hire or DDR minimum numbers,
Less than 1 months notice 100% of room hire and catering charges or DDR minimum numbers.
Notification of cancellations should be made in writing and will be effective on the date received by Woburn House Conference Centre Ltd.
We hope this helps our fantastic clients in what is a very uncertain time for all and we hope to welcome you all back to Woburn House very soon.
