After the best summer most of us can remember and the nights start to draw in, the leaves start to fill up Tavistock Square and we move into the busy events season once again, it seems the perfect time to update you on the latest developments at Woburn House.
A veritable feast!
We have made some exciting improvements to both our working and fork buffet menus starting from October 1st. We have added some new salads, my favourite being the prawn, avocado with wild rice to run alongside some of the already popular favourites and some new sandwiches including the mouth watering thinly sliced steak, mild mustard and gherkins. We have added some extra dishes to our great value Woburn House buffet including our chef Ivan’s special chicken katsu curry and vegetable dumplings. Our new working lunch menus are included in our bronze package and the fantastic chicken katsu can be selected if you choose our silver day delegate package.
New friendly face joins the team
We are pleased to announce we have a new AV and Operations Coordinator, Ben Homan. Ben is experienced in providing AV services across London and comes with a wealth of knowledge around streaming, PA systems and installations. Ben will be on hand throughout your bookings with us giving you peace of mind that should you have any problems then we have a man that can!
October special offers
I can’t believe that October is now upon us and Halloween is just around the corner! To celebrate we would like to offer you some frighteningly good rates for this month. We are offering 20% off of our day delegate rates and 20% off of all our room hire rates, just mention the word “spooky” when you speak to the team to qualify.
Tavistock Square Memorial
On the 12th September a new memorial was unveiled in Tavistock Square for the victims of the 7/7 bus bomb in 2005. This marks the end of a long fundraising campaign arranged by the Tavistock Square Memorial Trust We were very pleased to support the unveiling and we hosted a charity bake sale which provided us with our sugar fix for the week whilst also contributing over £300 to the fund. Thanks to our catering partners at Harbour and Jones for providing free tea and coffee with every cake purchased. As you can see from the photo, it is a fitting tribute to those who lost their lives that day.
Is it too early to mention Christmas?
Maybe, but it’s never too early to start planning your Christmas events. We have availability for 17th – 21st December to host your Christmas parties, meetings and events. Contact the team today for unbeatable rates! Also if you have a booking with us in December then we will be giving you the chance to make your lunch festive and providing mince pies during your tea and coffee breaks.
If there is anything that myself or the team can help you with then please do not hesitate to contact us.
