Here at Woburn House the safety of our staff, clients and guests are our priority. We are excited to be getting back to what we do best, hosting fantastic meetings and events but we want to do this in a way which minimises any risks associated with COVID 19. Below I have documented the measures we are undertaking to ensure the safety of everyone who visits us. These measures have been put into place in line with the Meeting Industry Association - Roadmap to reopening and operating safely and Woburn House is proud to be AIM Secure accredited.
Sales Process
Show arounds will only be permitted when there are no clients using the spaces.
If show arounds are required then a list of requirements will be sent to the client prior to their arrival and must be agreed to before access is granted.
Cleaning
Prior to reopening Woburn House has undergone a professional deep clean of all areas with additional electrostatic decontamination (certificate available on request). All areas will be cleaned every evening to the standards set out by Public Health England – COVID 19: cleaning in non healthcare settings outside of the home
Air conditioning undergone a full filter clean and service prior to reopening and periodically after this point
Kitchen and catering preparation areas have been given a professional deep clean including all extraction and air conditioning
Touch points to be sanitised a minimum of twice a day and more often when the building has a high level of occupancy
Toilets to be cleaned throughout the day
All furniture in meeting rooms to be sanitised before use
Rooms to remain locked before use to ensure nobody accesses them prior to your arrival
If you plan to vacate the room during breaks and lunch please inform the conference centre team who can arrange for the room to be cleaned for you
During your event
Screens in place at the reception desk and mandatory sanitisation station on entry
All front of house staff to be temperature tested at the beginning of each shift and to complete lateral flow tests twce a week
Clients are advised to minimise materials such as badges, delegate packs and handouts
All meeting rooms to be provide with sanitisation station including hand sanitiser and wipes
One way system and markings in place throughout the building to ensure social distancing when moving around common areas
IT/AV equipment to be sanitised prior to use with further cleaning at convenient intervals to be agreed with the client
All microphones to be sanitised between use. Handheld mics to be avoided unless necessary. If required they will be provided with wipes to allow for cleaning between use.
Flipchart pens to be supplied in pre sealed packs and to remain with the client after the event
All rooms provided with fresh air flow in accordance with government recommendations either via mechanical ventilation or opening of windows
Socially distanced queuing systems in place for all toilets
Food and Beverage
All catering staff to wear gloves and masks when delivering or serving
Tea and coffee service to be served where possible to minimise touch points. Where not possible wipes will be provided for use between delegates
All other catering items to be served in prewrapped or sealed containers.
All cutlery and crockery to be dishwasher cleaned above 60 degrees
Hand sanitiser provided with all catering orders
In the event of an outbreak within Woburn House
Isolation space is available on the 4th Floor of the building. Please call reception on 020 7419 4111 informing them if you feel unwell and they can arrange for access for you.
Decontamination cleans to take place immediuately following the outbreak.
